All of you Akelas (adults): We're getting together this Thursday, August 30 in the Kenworthy School library at 7 p.m. to talk about what you want from scouting for your boy and how we can all work together to achieve it!
Just bring your brain and a willing spirit!

Activities
This year we're planning at least three campouts -- including one to be held at Camp La-No-Che, the Winn-Dixie Scout Reservation near Mount Dora. That's where Tiger Cub Growl (November 16-18, 2001) will be held, too, and if you've never been to La-No-Che, you're in for a treat. It's a very large wilderness area with nicely-developed camping areas, a large dining hall, snack bar, lake, canoes and a huge Council Fire ring.
